What’s on this Organic September?
September is a busy month for all, especially for us here at Yeo as we celebrate Organic September! With kids going back to school, and the ever-looming Christmas preparations just around the corner, why not take some time out and come and visit us here at the valley for one of our eagerly anticipated events. Whether you’re looking for a relaxing yeo-ga session or fancy some fine dining with a side of cider, there is something for everyone.
Yeo Valley Best of Both – September 11th
Get ready for a fantastic morning at our Garden Café, where our chef will whip up some culinary magic! Once you’ve savoured a scrumptious lunch, our garden team will lead you on a guided stroll taking you on a journey through the garden’s history and unveiling our exciting plans for the future.
Your day’s ticket includes garden entry, a welcoming cup of coffee, the chef’s culinary masterclass, a delicious two-course lunch, and a leisurely garden tour. Be sure not to skip the Garden Store, where you’ll find a selection of Yeo Valley products and local delights. Don’t forget your cool bag for any goodies you pick up!
Drawn from the Garden – 20th September
Spend the day in our Organic Garden drawing with artist in residence, Natasha Clutterbuck.
Join renowned local artist Natasha Clutterbuck for an expressive day of hands-on art in our Organic Garden. Natasha uses natural materials from the local area to create her own vibrant drawings of the garden. She’ll help you to explore your own unique drawing style.
Yeo Valley Farm to Fridge Day – 25th September
An exclusive opportunity for you, our loyal customer, to get up close & personal with all things Yeo Valley. Your day includes morning coffee, a delicious lunch, afternoon tea and garden entry.
Yeo Valley’s story is told during the morning, you will hear how it all began… from experiments on the kitchen table, to becoming Britain’s biggest organic brand today. You will have a chance to hear what the future brings for Yeo Valley and the opportunity to get answers to any of your burning questions. The day also includes a demo from one of our chefs, giving you ways to use our products in your recipes back at home.
After lunch, there is a guided walk around the farm before finishing up with afternoon tea and cake.
Organic Garden Summer Sculpture Show – Weekly throughout September
In collaboration with Southwest Sculptures, the Yeo Valley Organic Garden has been host to an array of fantastic sculptures throughout the summer of 2024. These brilliant pieces of art will continue to be on display throughout the month of September and cost no extra to view simply pop down to the Organic garden between 10am-5pm from Thursday-Saturday and enjoy a stroll through the six and a half acres of blossoming gardens and wild meadows. Whilst you here enjoy coffee and cake or a light lunch in our garden café. We are a friendly bunch and love chatting and swapping experiences and tips with likeminded folk. To mark the Soil Associations Organic September, we are hosting a number of inspiring and influential speakers in our meadow yurt. Talks will cover a range of topics to get your organic pulses racing, please find speakers, dates, and topics below.
Nigel Cox - gets lively about The Living Soil – Nurturing Nature’s Way. Friday 6th
Nicola Hope - talks about the exciting world of No Dig and Polyculture. Saturday 7th
Richard Rickitt - will be creating ‘A Buzz in the Garden – gardening for Bees. Thursday 12th
Sally Morgan - is talking climate and will be offering insights into The Resilient Garden. Friday 13th
David O’Carroll - shares his knowledge on Bossing Soil Health by Farming the Korean Natural Way. Saturday 14th

Our garden shop will be open for chilled and frozen Yeo Valley Organic goodies and garden gifts, plus the garden café will be open as usual serving tea, coffee, light lunches and cakes.
Tickets are £10 each plus booking fees. Spaces are limited so book your tickets now! (includes general garden entry). All sessions start at 10.30am for an hour or so.
