Bee tour at the Yeo Valley Organic Garden

Have you ever wanted to know more about the bees in your garden? Well, here’s your chance. Join Bee champion, author and award winning writer, Jean Vernon for a bee safari around the Yeo Valley Organic Garden. Jean will introduce you to some of our fabulous bumblebees and solitary bees. Her bee safari will also help you understand how to garden to support all of our bees and other essential pollinators.

You will be educated in the huge diversity of our garden bees, and Jean will advise the sorts of flowers that really will make a difference and reveal some fascinating things you may not know about our amazing garden bees!

Jean Vernon (aka Jeanie Bee) is an award winning writer and author of The Secret Lives of Garden Bees. She is on a mission to unravel, demystify and explain the intricate balance of nature. As well as introducing everyone to the familiar and unfamiliar bees and other pollinators that live in our gardens.

How to book?

Includes arrival coffee, tour and talk, and garden entry.

Arriving for 10am, meet Jean in the Yeo Yurt for a coffee, after which the talk and walk will happen. The morning draws to a close after some Q&A back in the yurt. You are then welcome to stay on and enjoy the garden. Our garden cafe will be open for drinks, snacks and cakes.
