Blackberry & Pear Crumble Bar

Have a go at creating this tasty snack – the perfect recipe for an on-the-go breakfast!

Ingredients

For the Crumble Mix

200g flour

100g oats

125g cold Yeo Valley Organic Unsalted Butter

125g sugar

1 tsp. cinnamon

1 tsp. ground ginger

Pinch of salt

For the Filling

200g blackberries

2 pears, grated

3 tsp. cornflour

Method

  1. Mix all the crumble mixture in a blender until it comes together & is a bit clumpy!
  2. Mix the berries, grated pears & 3 tsp. cornflour together in a bowl.
  3. Press 2/3 of the crumble mixture into a lined 20cm square tin & top with the berry mixture.
  4. Sprinkle over the remaining crumble mix & bake in the oven on 180 for 40 mins until golden.
  5. Leave for 10 mins to cool before removing from the tin & cutting into bars.
