When? Wednesday 27th September 10am – 5pm
What? Come and enjoy a day of fun, food and farming as the talented men and women of Somerset show off their skills with vintage tractors, shire horses and hand held ploughs.
Where? The Yeo Valley Farm
A hearty brunch begins the day, along with some local history from our ploughing expert. There’s time for you to enjoy all that the Ploughing Match has to offer- from ploughing, dry stone walling and hedge laying to produce competitions and cider tasting.
For lunch, it’s up to the Yeo Valley Canteen for a harvest inspired meal, a chat with the Country Living editor in chief, Suzy Smith, and an insight into life and love on the farm from a Yeo Valley farmer and his wife. There’s also the chance to get the lowdown on finding love, from Country Living columnist Imogen Green.
