Creme Fraiche

We’re very at home with crème fraîche – it’s cream with some friendly bacteria introduced to it, similar to how we make our yogurt. It has only half the fat that a crème fraîche would ordinarily have, but you’d never know! So go on and have another dollop!

Best half-fat creme fraiche I’ve tasted by a long way as it’s the only one that actually has a slightly sour taste to it. Just lovely 🙂

Really thick and perfect in home made soups. Adds a little something to both the appearance and taste.

Just the best substitute for cream! My favourite pud – a meringue nest, fresh fruit and a dollop of wonderful Yeo Valley Half Fat Crème Fraiche. Perfect!!

I have trouble digesting food made with single or double cream, but I can substitute crème fraîche and enjoy the many recipes that call for cream.
