Strained Strawberry Yogurt Scone Filling
Our twist on the traditional cream tea, let us introduce you to our super-simple strained yogurt filling that adds a fruity surprise to a creamy filling.
Ingredients
Method
- Get a damp muslin cloth and lay this out flat before dolloping the strawberry yogurt in the middle of the cloth.
- Gather up the sides of the cloth to form a bundle and tie the cloth at the top with string. Tie the bundle on a shelf in the fridge and set a bowl underneath it to catch the excess liquid. Do not squeeze the bundle.
- Allow the yogurt to strain overnight.
- The next day, remove the cloth from the fridge and discard the excess liquid from the mixing bowl. Your strained yogurt is now ready to be added to a serving bowl and enjoyed with freshly baked scones.
