Strained Strawberry Yogurt Scone Filling

Our twist on the traditional cream tea, let us introduce you to our super-simple strained yogurt filling that adds a fruity surprise to a creamy filling.

Method

  1. Get a damp muslin cloth and lay this out flat before dolloping the strawberry yogurt in the middle of the cloth.
  2. Gather up the sides of the cloth to form a bundle and tie the cloth at the top with string. Tie the bundle on a shelf in the fridge and set a bowl underneath it to catch the excess liquid. Do not squeeze the bundle.
  3. Allow the yogurt to strain overnight.
  4. The next day, remove the cloth from the fridge and discard the excess liquid from the mixing bowl. Your strained yogurt is now ready to be added to a serving bowl and enjoyed with freshly baked scones.
