Join Us In Celebrating Organic September
The year is flying by, can you believe it’s Organic September?
Organic September is a special month for Yeo Valley Organic as it’s when we can celebrate and recognise the hard work and dedication that goes into organic farming and producing our delicious organic products.
The Organic September campaign is organised by the Soil Association and the Organic Trade Board and is focused on bringing joy, fun and celebration into all things organic. This year's theme is focused on collaboration, innovation, community and of course celebration!
We want to celebrate how small changes can make a big difference, by working together we can achieve so much more. We believe organic can help to find solutions for the climate, nature and health crises and supporting a more sustainable future. What’s more, it’s easy to get involved by simply “making one small swap to organic” on your next visit to the shops. Even the smallest choice towards embracing organic can have a positive impact on our planet!
In 1973, an accreditation scheme was launched, allowing farmers to gain certification proving they don’t use harmful chemicals in their growing or production methods. It’s something that’s been going on for half a century, but it couldn’t be more relevant today.
In celebration of Organic September, be on the lookout for stacks of exciting new content across our channels. Plus, we have a superb selection (if we say so ourselves) of engaging events taking place, from September Specials to Best of Both Days, and even a Farm-to-Fridge day, it’s all going on here.
To commemorate Organic September, we sat down with a cuppa to find out what Organic September means to a few of the team here at Yeo HQ….
