We are working to ‘close the loop’ on our packaging. We are members of The UK Plastics Pact and have made good progress on our journey to making sure all of our plastic packaging is fully recyclable and made from recycled plastic.
Small Wins to Help Put Nature First
Our Super Thick yogurt pot is the first of it’s kind, it not only holds our thickest creamiest yogurt ever but it’s also made from 100% recycled plastic!
This is just one of our Small Wins to Help Put Nature First.
We’ve been on a journey to make our packaging more sustainable and we’re not done yet! To show you some of what we’ve done so far, we’ve pulled together this timeline…

Pouches & things that can't be recycled at home
Sadly, not everything can be recycled at home just yet. But don’t worry, because we’ve teamed up with recycling experts at Enval who can do it for you. Things you can send them: Little Yeos pouches (not the green plastic lids), the film lids of our yogurt pots, and our small yogurt sachets from recipe boxes.
Here’s what to do:
1. Fill your details in the form below and we’ll send you a recycling bag in. a few weeks when they come into stock.
2. Make sure the pouches/packs are empty and clean.
3. For pouches, put the green plastic lids into your recycling bin at home (not the Enval bag).
4. Pop the packs into the bag (we’d suggest saving up a few to send in one go, max. 13).
5. Send to Enval (for free!) via Royal Mail.
We've taken the plastic lids off our creams
You may have seen that we’ve taken the plastic clips lids off all the creams in our range. The reason for this is to use less plastic.
We do have some storage tips on how you can keep your creams as fresh as possible – it’s best to store them towards the back of your fridge, where the temperature maintains better. You should also always use a clean spoon to dip into the pot.
If you’re still missing the lid, why not give some reusable storage solutions a go? We love the cling film replacements from The Bees Wax Wraps Co or you could decant the leftover cream into a Tupperware tub with a lid. You could also save a clip on lid from our big pots of yogurt to use on your creme fraiche pots.
Our Super Thick Kerned pots are made from 100% RPET...
Yes that’s right, they are made from 100% recycled plastic. A first in the yogurt world!
You might have noticed that these pots seem a little wobbly but that’s because the plastic content is lower than our standard pots. Being made from 100% recycled plastic isn’t easy but it is the right thing to do.

How to Recycle our Yogurt Pots
Our pots are recyclable – you just need to separate them.
1. Scrape out the last spoonful of yogurt from your pot then tear the seam and remove the cardboard sleeve.
2. Rinse the plastic pot clean.
3. Pop the plastic pot in the plastics bin.
4. Pop the sleeve in the cardboard and paper recycling.

How to recycle our milk bottles
Our milk bottles are made with up to 50% recycled content – it’s our greenest bottle yet!
1.Finish your milk!
2.Rinse the empty bottle (no need to peel the label off).
3.Put the empty bottle into your plastic recycling box. Keep the milk tops separate in the box.

How to Recycle our 4-Packs
Currently our 4 pack pots are made with 30% RPET which means that 30% of the plastic used is recycled. We are always working on improving and we’ll keep you posted with updates about how we’re getting on.
1. Remove the outer card sleeve (don’t forget to claim your Yeokens!)
2. Pop the sleeve in your paper recycling bin.
3. Rinse the plastic pot clean.
4. Pop the plastic pot in the plastics bin.
