Chocolate and Yogurt Cookies

250g unsalted butter

100g caster sugar

150g muscovado sugar

2 tsp vanilla paste or vanilla extract

2 eggs

4 tbsp of yeo valley natural yogurt

200g plain flour

100g cocoa powder

150g dark chocolate drops


  1. First, beat the butter and sugars together until light and fluffy.
  2. In a separate bowl, mix the eggs and yogurt and beat well before storing through the vanilla paste/extract.
  3. Gradually add the yogurt and egg mixture to the sugar and butter mixing slowly, then fold in the flour, cocoa and chocolate chips.
  4. Roll the mixture into golf sized balls and place on a baking tray lined with greaseproof paper.
  5. Place in the oven for 8-10 minutes at 180C.
  6. Allow to cool on the tray.
