Zaatar Leek Baked Eggs

Tired of the traditional fried or poached egg? Then have a go at our simple (and delicious!) Zaatar Leek Baked Eggs recipe.

Ingredients

25g Yeo Valley Salted Butter
3 Leeks
1 tbsp. Zaatar
10g Dill
4 Free range eggs
4 tbsp. Yeo Valley Natural Yoghurt
1 tbsp. Harrisa

Method

  1. In a small frying pan gently sauté 3 finely sliced leeks in the Yeo Valley Butter & zaatar. This should take around 20 mins to become soft & sweet.
  2. Once the leeks are ready add the dill for a final stir before making 4 wells for the
    eggs.
  3. Crack in the eggs & put in a 190 preheated oven for 6-7 mins for a soft yolk.
  4. Serve with the harrisa yoghurt dolloped on the eggs
