A warm welcome
"What a time we had at our very first Yeo Valley Organic Gardening Festival! It was a joy to meet so many of you and get involved in such inspiring gardening discussions.
Our gates to the garden and farm are now closed for the season and will be back open in spring 2026. Thank you to everyone who visited during our 2025 season. Feeling nostalgic, rewatch all the useful tips on YouTube and relive the inspiration from the garden festival. Watch this space for more exciting events taking place in 2026!"
Sarah Mead - Head Gardener

Closing the gates
Opening times: We’re closed for the season, but be on the lookout for when we will be reopening in spring 2026.
Don't forget our HQ Staff Canteen is still open during winter months, Tuesday to Friday, for breakfast, lunch or a hot drink and a yummy slice of cake.

There is access for wheelchairs, and mobility scooters to the cafe. In the garden itself, there is extensive use of gravel and grass which can be limiting. Assistance dogs are welcome.

A glimpse before your visit
Meet the team
For over 30 years, the ornamental garden has been transformed, emphasising bold planting and whimsical elements. The creativity is evident in unique and playful arrangements, ensuring the garden remains a delightful experience for visitors all through the efforts of the Yeo Valley Organic Garden team.
From flowers in full bloom to a cosy garden tea room, there’s plenty to discover at the Yeo Valley Organic Garden. If you spot a member of the team don't forget to say hello, they're a friendly bunch.
Plan your visit ahead of your arrival, and take a sneak peek of our garden map.

Autumn in the Yeo Valley Organic Garden

The Avenue
We planted the avenue in 1995; lined with Tea Crabapple trees (or Malus hupehensis, to the uninitiated), it’s at its most beautiful when the blossom is out in May.

The Meadow
We sowed our perennial meadow over 10 years ago and it’s continued to flourish. After flowering, the meadow is cut and the seeds left to drop so the wild flowers can continue to bloom year after year.

The Gravel Garden
From the bees’ paradise of the thyme bank to beautiful herbaceous planting, the gravel garden is a true tapestry of colour. Most of the plants have come from our friends at the organic nursery Caves Folly.

The Veggie Garden
On what was once a tennis court sits a mixture of veg and flowers – our ornamental kitchen garden. We grow all our own plants here – even the supports are hazel and willow from the garden. Our seeds come from Tamar Organics.

The Garden Cafe
No visit to the garden would be complete without a cup of tea and slice of cake, or even a light lunch. There’s a terrace for sunny days and a wood burner inside for when its more chilly!

The Organic Garden Shop
Before you say goodbye, make sure to pop by the garden shop and load up on all your favourite Yeo Valley Organic goodies, browse a selection of our favourite local products and don't forget to check out our quirky gardening bits and bobs.
Gift Vouchers
How about treating green-fingered family or friends to a Yeo day out? Whether it's a day trip to our Organic Garden or a day of learning about the farm and our organic products, have you thought about treating someone with a Yeo gift voucher for 2026?
