Spiced Tomato Chutney

Yeo Valley chefs have shared this tasty burger relish recipe served here at our HQ Canteen. A fantastic addition to your burger along with our Organic Mature Cheddar!
Ingredients
The Chutney
50ml olive oil
500g tinned tomatoes
40g tomato puree
200g chopped onion
150g sugar
120g organic white wine vinegar
5g onion seeds
5g fennel seeds
1 tspn dried chilli flakes
Method
Start by gently crushing all the seeds together with a rolling pin or a pestle and mortar.
Heat olive oil in a large saucepan then add the chopped onions and sweat until softened before adding the crushed seeds.
Mix in the tinned tomatoes followed by all the other remaining ingredients.
Keep stirring and reduce until you have the correct consistency.
Add to your burger, along with some Yeo Valley Organic Mature Cheddar and enjoy!
