These Multigrain flapjacks are the perfect healthy option when you fancy a sweet treat!
Ingredients
The Flapjacks
250g Rolled oats
25g Puffed quinoa
25g Golden millet seeds
90g Golden syrup
90g Demerara sugar
Method
Preheat your oven to 180˚C and grease a 20cm square baking tin with butter.
In a pan slowly melt your butter, syrup and sugar, stirring continuously into a smooth golden consistency.
Combine with the oats, quinoa and millet. Once mixed together, press down into the prepared tin and bake for 30 mintues.
Leave to cool for 5 minutes and then score into squares. Wait a further 30 minutes and then cut the flapjacks all the way through. Store in an airtight container once cool.
