I make my own organic ghee (clarified butter) with Yeo Valley Organic butter. Gently allow the butter to melt in a warm heavy pan. The butter solids will stay at the bottom of the pan and I quietly pour the liquid into a container; it will keep for months. Ghee tastes quite different to butter and this gives me the best tasting and healthiest ghee that I can create in UK.

As an older person, I need to limit my salt and dairy intake, so when I do have butter, it has to be really tasty. Yeo Valley butter has so much creamy flavour that even a tiny scraping is still delicious. I have mine on wholemeal toast and I feel like I have been very indulgent afterwards. Lovely!

I only eat butter as opposed to any of these “spreads” and unfortunately I and my family find after several attempts have stopped using it because of the taste, we find that this does not apply to other organic butters or any home made butter or any of your other products tried so far, why?

I have recently moved back to using butter from spreads and Yeo is by far the best. I would prefer to buy the unsalted but it isn’t stocked where I live.

Great to see another grass fed butter out there for those following either a Paleo diet ( the one starting with a K was always recommended) or a back to nature healthy diet with no cooking oils, just like the old days when people lived long and healthy lives.
