This is the original, the one we’ve been making since, ooh, forever. From breakfast to bedtime, with compotes or curries, it’s something of a fridge stalwart – always waiting to greet us with a cheery welcome when we open the door.

– Stefan BadraganI was born in Romania and grew up for the first 12 years mostly on my grandparents’ farm. They did an extraordinarily good yoghurt-like product that to this day is unbeatable.
I then moved to Italy, where food is the real religion and yoghurts from their mediterranean brothers, the Greek, are of exceptional quality.
I’ve travelled to Greece and tried their world-renowned yoghurt there.
And then I’ve come to the UK and tried the Yeo Valley yoghurt. And it’s absolutely outstanding. It has NOTHING to envy neither of the most natural home-made products taught from generation to generation nor of the world-renowned ones that are so heavily praised.
The only regret I have is not having had the opportunity to have my wife taste this absolute delicacy when she visited the UK.
Well, despite possible future difficulties to travel over here, we will. And I will make sure to have her try it and swoon over its impeccable taste and creamy smooth texture.
