Yeo Valley Wills Barn Staycation Giveaway TERMS & CONDITIONS

 

  1. This Promotion is only open to residents of the United Kingdom aged 18 or over, excluding employees of the Promoter (Yeo Valley Farms Production Limited), its agents, their families and all those professionally associated with this Promotion.2.
  2. No purchase is necessary. Entrants will need to have internet access and a valid Instagram, Facebook, and Twitter account to enter.
  3. Promotion Period: Enter between 09:30 BST on the 27th of May and 23:59 BST on the 9th of June 2022 inclusive.
  4. To Enter: Log into your Instagram account, (or create one for free), follow @yeovalley and locate their promotional post referencing the giveaway and follow the instructions to enter.Or

    Log into your Facebook account, (or create one for free), follow @yeovalley and locate their promotional post referencing the giveaway and follow the instructions to enter.

  5. You must continue to follow @yeovalley on Instagram, Facebook or Twitter on the account you entered with and ensure your profile is on a public setting for a period of 4 weeks after the end of the Promotion Period to be contacted if you are selected as a winner.
  6. A maximum of one entry per person is permitted during the Promotion Period. A maximum of 1 prize per person.
  7. The Prize: There will be one winner. The winner will be selected from all entries combined from all channels.
    • The winner will win 1 x 2 night stay at Will’s Barn valid for 2 adults. Booking dates must fall within 6 months of the Prize Draw closing date (referenced in point 3). Availability subject to change – desired dates will need to be approved by Yeo Valley to avoid conflicting with pre-booked events. Discussion to take place once winner is announced.8.   2. Your guest must also be a UK resident aged 18 or over.

 

  1. For the avoidance of doubt, the Prize does not include travel/transportation, food, beverages, souvenirs, gratuities, car parking charges, excess baggage, additional excursions and attractions or any other costs of a personal nature (including spending money) that are not explicitly set out in these Terms and Conditions and neither the Promoter nor any provider of any part of the Prize will be responsible for any such costs.

 

  1. It is the responsibility of the Winner and any guest to check any travel advisories issued by a Government, to determine whether they wish to accept the risk of travelling to the destination. The Promoter will not be responsible for any loss or damage suffered by any winner or their guest arising out of their failure to follow any travel advisories issued by a Government. The winner and their guest must comply with and are responsible for obtaining all information regarding any recommended inoculation and obtaining the inoculation(s) and health regulations required.

 

  1. The winner is solely responsible for any additional charges incurred during the event, including, without limitation, costs of meals, drinks, and services together with related taxes.

 

  1. The winner will not be entitled to any compensation and will have no claim against the Promoter, Yeo Valley or Wills Barn if the prize is delayed, postponed, rescheduled or cancelled.

 

  1. The winner is responsible for the behaviour of themselves and their guest whilst taking the Prize. The Promoter reserves the right in its absolute discretion to exclude the winner and/or their guest from participation in any aspect of the Prize if any party fails to comply with the directions of the Promoter or any companies associated with the Prize or if the winner and/or their guest act in a manner that is dangerous to themselves or to the public or is, in the opinion of the Promoter, anti-social in any manner or which causes a disturbance or nuisance to others. Failure to comply with these Terms and Conditions may result in refused entry, or the ticket holders being required to leave the venue.

 

  1. You and your guest must abide by any relevant terms and conditions which form part of the prize. Whilst at the venue, you must not: be drunk, intoxicated, under the influence of drugs, underage, be abusive, threatening, make or incite racial abuse, chant, use offensive language, make obscene gestures, throw items, behave anti-socially, carry laser pens, bring animals (except guide dogs), carry offensive weapons or illegal substances, carry candles, climb any structure, make excessive noise, offer any item for sale, damage the venue or smoke. Failure to comply with these Terms and Conditions may result in refused entry, or you being required to leave the venue.

    9. Winner Selection:     The provisional winner will be randomly selected from all valid entries received during the Promotion Period. The prize draw will be conducted by an independent promotional verification service within 5 working days of the close of the Promotion Period.
    10. Winner Notification: The provisional winner will be contacted within 2 working days of Winner Selection via the Instagram, Facebook or Twitter account they used to enter. The winner must respond confirming eligibility and acceptance of the Prize within 14 days of initial contact. Once eligibility has been confirmed, the provisional winner will be confirmed as a winner.  If a provisional winner does not respond within 14 days of initial contact, the Promoter reserves the right to disqualify that winner. If a winner is disqualified the Promoter reserves the right to award the Prize to a reserve winner selected in the same manner. A reserve winner may have less time to respond.

 

  1. Prize Acceptance:  Notification to arrange fulfilment of the Prize will take place within 28 days of acceptance of the Prizes. In the unlikely event that the winner has not received communication to arrange their Prize the winner must inform the Promoter by emailing hello@yeovalley.co.uk. If the winners does not do so, the Promoter reserves the right to not reissue the Prize or limit its value at its sole discretion.

 

  1. Moderation: The Promoter reserves the right to reject entries which, in the reasonable opinion of the Promoter:
    1. are in breach of the Terms and Conditions
    2. contain any content that is offensive, obscene, sexual, derogatory, defamatory, violent, abusive, harassing, threatening, objectionable concerning race, religion, origin or gender, which could reflect negatively upon the name, reputation or goodwill of the Promoter or any brand partner, or which is otherwise unsuitable for publication;
    3. contains or refers to any third-party brand or reference any third-party names, logos and/or trademarks;
    4. promotes any political agenda.

 

  1. Subject to the consent of the winner, their surname and county will be made available by sending a request to hello@yeovalley.co.uk for a period of 1 month from the first of the month following the draw period. The winner may object to their surname or county of residence being published or request for the amount of information being published to be reduced during the Winner Communication process.

 

  1. The Prize is non-exchangeable or transferable and cannot be redeemed for monetary value or any other form of compensation. If for any reason any element of the Prize is not available, the Promoter reserves the right, at its sole discretion to substitute another prize for it, of equal or greater value.

 

  1. The Promoter may request that the winner participates in publicity arising from the Promotion. The winner is under no obligation to participate and may decline this request. Participation is at the winner’s discretion.

 

  1. If the Promotion is not capable of running as planned for reasons including but not limited to tampering, unauthorised intervention, fraud, dishonesty, technical failures, or any other causes beyond the control of the Promoter which corrupt or affect the administration, security, fairness, integrity or proper conduct of this Promotion, the Promoter reserves the right to disqualify any individual who tampers with the entry process or does not comply with these Terms & Conditions and to cancel, modify or suspend the Promotion or invalidate any affected entries.

 

  1. No responsibility can be taken for entries that are lost, delayed, corrupted, damaged, misdirected, or incomplete or which cannot be delivered for any technical, delivery or other reason. Proof of submission of entry is not proof of receipt of entry. The Promoter does not guarantee continuous or secure access to Instagram.

By entering the Promotion, entrants confirm that they have read and agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions and by the decisions of the Promoter, which are final in all matters relating to the Promotion. Failure to do so will result in the forfeiture of the Prize. No correspondence will be entered into.

 

  1. This Promotion is in no way sponsored, endorsed, administered by, or associated with Instagram or Facebook. You understand that you are providing information to the Promoter and not to Instagram or Facebook.   1. The Promoter may refuse to award a Prize in the event of an entrant’s fraud, dishonesty, breach or non-entitlement under these Terms & Conditions or seek recovery of its value if the Prize has been awarded.

 

  1. The Promoter seeks to run fair and secure promotions and prevent abuse and cheating. If you enter in a way that is not consistent with these Terms & Conditions, your entries (and any of your associated aliases) will be disqualified, any Prize awarded may be void and recoverable, and the Promoter reserves the right to bar you from entering future promotions for a period of at least six months. For this reason, the Promoter reserves the right at any point to:

 

  1. Verify the eligibility of entrants and/or provisional winner by requesting such information it considers reasonably necessary for this purpose. Entry or a Prize may be withheld unless and until verification is completed satisfactorily.
  2. Disqualify entries that are not made directly by the individual entering the Promotion.
  3. Disqualify entries made using anonymous email services such as, but not limited to, GuerillaMail, Disposable or Mailinator.

Cancel, modify or suspend the Promotion should it not be capable of running as planned for reasons including but not limited to tampering, unauthorised intervention, fraud, dishonesty, technical failures, or any other causes beyond the control of the Promoter which corrupt or affect the administration, security, fairness, integrity or proper conduct of this Promotion.

The Promoter together with any associated agencies and companies will not be liable for any loss (including, without limitation, indirect, special or consequential loss or loss of profits), expense or damage which is suffered or sustained (whether or not arising from any person’s negligence) in connection with this Promotion or accepting or using the Prize, except for any liability which cannot be excluded by law. Nothing will exclude the Promotor’s liability for death or personal injury as a result of its negligence. The Promoter does not accept any liability for the acts of any third-party Prize provider.

The Promoter will not be liable for any failure to comply with its obligations or any delay in performing its obligations within these terms and conditions If an act, omission, event or circumstance occurs caused by (but not limited to) global or regional health crises, weather conditions, fire, flood, strike, hurricane, industrial dispute, war, terrorist activity, hostilities, political unrest, riots, civil commotion, epidemic, pandemic, famine, plague or other natural calamities and acts of God or any other circumstances beyond the reasonable control of the Promoter.

 

  1. If any provisions of these Terms and Conditions are judged to be invalid, illegal or unenforceable, this shall not affect or impact the continuation in full force and effect the remainder of the provisions.

 

  1. In the event of a discrepancy between these Terms & Conditions and the details in any promotional material, the details in the Terms & Conditions will prevail.

 

  1. These Terms and Conditions are governed by English law and shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
